Adele has revealed she is ready to go on tour ‘as soon as possible’ – while playfully encouraging fans to ‘keep wearing their masks.’

In a tell all, 73 question-and-answer session with Vogue, the 33-year-old popstar – who, last week, released her first single in six years – said her next bout of gigs will be dependent on how the COVID pandemic progresses.

When asked when she would like to go on tour, Adele replied: ‘As soon as possible, I’m ready to go! It’s all up to COVID so keep wearing your mask and don’t be spreading that Delta and who knows!’

The singing sensation, whose fourth album fans are waiting for with bated breath, gave Joe Sabia a peek into her lavish Los Angeles pad as they engaged in the quick fire Q&A. 

Dressed comfortably in a tracksuit, something which she said was ‘typical’ of Brits in 90 degree heat, the Easy On Me songstress seemed more than happy to answer a whole plethora of questions, regardless of their intensity.

No hesitation was noted when she was questioned on the biggest risk she’s taken –  ‘leaving my marriage,’ was her three-word response.

Adele’s life may have taken her across the pond but it was clear that she hadn’t forgotten her Tottenham roots, as she was able to belt out the North London football club’s chant without a second thought.  

On a more candid note, there was a lot of reflection on how she’s grown throughout the making of her albums, 19 (2008), 21 (2011), 25 (2015) and of course, the latest to be added to her discography, 30, set for release in November.

Of her diaries during the 21 era, she dubbed them as looking like: ‘Drunk, chaotic, stressed, very sad,’ – and admitted that she would advise her 19-year-old self that her love life ‘would get a lot worse.’
