Adele announced to her fans that she has found a way to make her residency performances in Las Vegas even more entertaining. 

The songstress, 34, reportedly told fans ‘Go and order some drinks… the drunker you are, the better I am,’ during her Las Vegas performance, according to The Mirror.

The I Drink Wine hitmaker, who has previously made it known she herself never drinks while she is working, is five days into her long-awaited residency.

The British singing icon finally begun her long-awaited Weekends with Adele shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Friday, and looked incredible taking to the stage in a classy black gown to perform some of her biggest hits.

Just hours before it’s planned premiere in January, she announced she was putting the show off indefinitely because it wasn’t ready. 

She described canceling the show as ‘the worst feeling I’ve ever had but the best decision I’ve ever made’ and said, ‘I do stand by it,’ as quoted by the Los Angeles Times.

Adele felt the planned show lacked a the sense of intimacy she wanted with her fans, but after her fantastic opening show on Friday, it was clearly worth the wait.

The show opened with two massive ballads, Hello and Easy on Me back to back after which fans rose to their feet to applaud the powerful opening numbers.

‘I should be giving you a standing ovation,’ Adele told the audience as tears rolled down her face.

Addressing the canceled version of the show she said, ‘Thank you so much for coming back to me.’ 

According to the Mirror, she told the audience: ‘I worked my absolute a**e off for this. I couldn’t have done that other show and you wouldn’t have liked it either, I’m telling you that.’ 

Among other changes, one small but notable change up was made to her wardrobe as she changed her shoes out for slip-resistant gripped socks. It’s been revealed she ditched the heels in order to focus on the singing.

Adele blew fans away when she disappeared from the stage in Las Vegas over the weekend.

The megastar, took everyone’s breath away during the finale moments of the show when she vanished under a downpour of glittering pink confetti.

The video of the magical finale has taken social media by storm, enchanting the multiplatinum singer’s massive fanbase.

Adele is thought to be earning USD$600,000 (£500,000) a night.
