Adele’s album 30 was not eligible for any 2022 Grammy Award nominations due to its date of release.
Material eligible for the 2022 Grammys, for which nominations were announced Tuesday, had to have been released between September 1, 2020 through September 30, 2021, per the Recording Academy.
The 33-year-old musical artist debuted her first single from the album, Easy on Me, on October 15, 2021, and the album as a whole was released November 19, 2021.

The material will be eligible for the 2023 Grammy Awards; other notable albums in the same circumstance include Megan Thee Stallion’s Something for Thee Hotties, = from Ed Sheeran, and Taylor Swift’s Red (Taylor’s Version).
Adele in her career was won 15 of 18 Grammy nominations, with honors including Best New Artist, and twice winning the honors for Album of the Year, Song of the Year.
Adele last month announced the release date of the record, her first in six years, in an Instagram post in which she declared she was ‘ready to finally put this album out.’
In the post, the English musical artist opened up about her personal journey in creating the forthcoming album, a time frame that includes her 2019 divorce from Simon Konecki.

‘I was certainly nowhere near where I’d hoped to be when I first started it nearly 3 years ago,’ she said. ‘Quite the opposite actually. I rely on routine and consistency to feel safe, I always have. And yet there I was knowingly – willingly even, throwing myself into a maze of absolute mess and inner turmoil!’
She said that after learning ‘a lot of blistering home truths about’ herself, she’s ‘shed many layers but also wrapped myself in new ones.
‘I feel like I’ve finally found my feeling again,’ she said. ‘I’d go as far as to say that I’ve never felt more peaceful in my life.’
