Adidas reveal new boots to be worn by Mohamed Salah for Champions League final… but Real Madrid stars will also don the lightweight shoes

- Salah’s new footwear is designed to help players who are speedy on the pitch
Adidas have revealed the boots that will be worn by Liverpool star Mohamed Salah during the Champions League final.
The boots will also be worn by a handful of Real Madrid players during Saturday evening’s game in Kiev against the Reds, including Gareth Bale, Marcelo and Karim Benzema.
Adidas have dubbed the boots the X18+, which are designed to unleash the speed of those players that wear them.

Salah will wear Adidas’ X18+s, which will also be worn by Gabriel Jesus at the World Cup
They are part of the Energy Mode pack and part of a new range of footwear that will be worn by players at the World Cup in Russia.
Players already planning to wear them at the World Cup include Gabriel Jesus and Luis Suarez.
Meanwhile, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp believes Liverpool have given Salah ‘the right circumstances’ to succeed.

Salah’s incredible debut season at Anfield has seen him score 44 times and be named the PFA and FWA Player of the Year.
And ahead of Saturday’s Champions League final against Real Madrid in Kiev, Klopp has explained how the Reds have helped the Egyptian deliver.
‘He went to Italy he was outstanding. It’s all about the potential, about skills when you see it’, he said on Channel 4 documentary, Mo Salah: A Football Fairy Tale.
‘And even Mo needs the right circumstances. This club have him the right circumstances, now he can deliver’, he added.
