One little girl’s dream to become a superstar dancer came true when she joined her favorite majorettes troupe for their big dance number last week.
Little Ollie Malone may just be a tiny toddler but that didn’t stop her from rocking the spotlight at Southwood High’s big Homecoming football game on September 30, where she stood in line with the sassy swaying dancers, sending the crowd wild with her adorable moves.
And the enthusiastic boogie has skyrocketed the Shreveport, Louisiana, toddler to overnight internet stardom with millions viewing the clip, which sees her dressed in a sparkly blue number with fringe detail that swayed as she moved her hips behind the booty-shaking dancers.
Dancing with the stars! Little Ollie Malone showed off her moves following Southwood High School’s majorettes dance team for their Homecoming football game debut
Boogie down! The little one studied the movements of the dancers in front of her and shook her hips to follow suit, to the cheer of the crowds in the bleachers that watched her
Ollie’s family was shocked to find that the toddler’s Facebook video recording of the special night instantly garnered a whopping 4.3million views and over 61,000 shares. And Ollie has her mom Micah Malone, who works at the high school as a PE and Health teacher, to thank for the opportunity.
‘Ollie LOVES the band and they love her! I’m so glad she gets the opportunities with these great students and teachers,’ her mom captioned the viral video.
The video sees the tiny tot at the end of a procession of a marching band and behind two lines of dancing majorettes. The girls, clad in sparkling orange sequins rompers and knee-high white leather go go boots, shake their hips side to side for a sassy walk as their arms follow in large flapping movements.
And Ollie was more than excited to join in the action. The video begins with Ollie marching to the beat of the drum, copying the stride of the majorettes in front of her. Suddenly they start to walk forward and her mom cheers behind her saying, ‘Go baby!’ as she walks, trying to sway her bum like the dancers along the way.
At one point she gets too close and the last majorette in line accidentally brushes the toddler’s blue and white bow tied to the top her golden locks. Instead of being taken aback, she looks back to her mom holding the camera with a euphoric smile and acts like she just touched a celebrity.
She’s feelin’ it! She coped their marches with high knees, but couldn’t nail the arm movements
One, two step! When it was time for the single file walk she cut the last dancer in line and strutted her stuff off the football field
No autographs, please! The little one had fans cheering left and right, including a man (above) on the pitch who was tickled by her movements
She gets back in line with renewed confidence and with extra high knee kicks in her step. Then stops to plant both feet onto the ground and shake her hips side to side instead, and when she does the crowd erupts in cheers for her moves.
Upon seeing her enthusiastic reception she swings her little body even faster, delighted with her newfound fame.
Halfway she gets a fan for her dance and a man on the sidelines cheers her on chanting, ‘Go Ollie, go Ollie!’
Then it’s time to march in a single file off the pitch, and without taking any instruction she cuts the last majorette in line and steals the second to final spot and struts along with the rest of the girls.

She kills her strut, and occasionally gets a helpful push forward from the end line dancer. Ollie heads off the football field along with the rest of the girls, before her mom runs in to whisk her off her path and bring her back towards the pitch, where once on the ground again, she wiggles her hips one last time with a cheeky smile.
However her fame didn’t end on the Homecoming field, even after the pitch she’s enjoyed a shower of compliments and cheers for her dancing career, with Facebook fans going gaga for her adorable debut.
‘This is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen,’ Facebook user Perrii said.
‘One of the best videos I’ve ever seen on Facebook! She is precious inside and out! She’s got rhythm too!’ another user named Carol wrote.
‘This sweet baby made my day! Ollie for president! Love her!’ another fan named Jackie added.
However according to mom, the dance routine is just a day in the life of the toddler.
‘Ollie loves to dance and entertain wherever she goes,’ her mom said to Fox.
