Adrian ‘Mr. Lambo’ Portelli set to make history on The Block with shock move at 2024 auctions: ‘He has been talking to producers for weeks’

The upcoming Block auction is already shaping up to be one for the history books.

And it looks like serial bidder Adrian Portelli is preparing to make a bold and game-changing move that will leave fans stunned.

A source has exclusively revealed to Daily Mail Australia that the millionaire entrepreneur is planning to purchase all five of the Phillip Island homes at this year’s auction – a first in the show’s long-running history.

‘The word is Adrian Portelli has his sights set on buying every single property,’ the insider disclosed.

The source said Portelli is serious about making a statement and cementing his position as The Block’s most powerful buyer.

‘He’s been talking to the producers about this for weeks and is very confident the deal will go through.’

Portelli, who became a household name after his high-profile purchases on previous seasons, is no stranger to turning Block homes into major publicity stunts.

His company, LMCT+, has frequently raffled off properties from the show, including last year’s $5 million purchase of Steph and Gian’s winning home.

As one of Australia’s wealthiest and most recognisable personalities, Portelli has already stirred excitement, with sources suggesting he’ll make a grand entrance to the auction, potentially arriving in his signature Lamborghini.

‘It’s all about spectacle with Adrian,’ a close friend told Daily Mail Australia.

‘He loves the drama, and this auction will be no exception. He’s ready to steal the show.’

What has really grabbed attention, however, is the prices of this year’s homes.

In a surprising twist, the five renovated properties have been listed with price guides well below $2 million – a significant drop compared to last year’s season, where reserve prices ranged between $2.97 million and $3.35 million.

The Block continues on Sunday at 7pm on Channel Nine
