She retired from tennis aged just 21, but Annabel Croft is still match fit.

The presenter appeared in excellent physical condition as she limbered up during a break from Strictly Come Dancing rehearsals.

The 57-year-old, who will appear on the BBC show in a few weeks, performed stretches after a 5km run in south-west London.

Ms Croft has said she is looking forward to finding some ‘joyfulness’ on the dancefloor after a difficult few months.

Her husband of 31 years, Mel Coleman, died from cancer in May.

Fitness has played a big part in her TV career, as presenter of Channel 4’s Treasure Hunt and ITV’s Interceptor. 

She was the youngest Briton, aged 15, to play at Wimbledon for almost a century.
