An out-of-control bushfire in Perth’s south is threatening people at an ice skating rink and theme park.

An emergency warning has been issued for Cockburn Ice Arena and Adventure World in Bibra Lake in the City of Cockburn.

People at the sites have been urged to take shelter.

‘You are in danger and need to act immediately to survive,’ the Department of Fire and Emergency Services alert said late on Tuesday.

‘There is a threat to lives and homes.’

Firefighters are battling the blaze with support from aerial water bombers.

A watch and act alert has been issued for people in some suburbs and a park bordering the emergency area.
