Collingwood forward Brody Mihocek and partner Polly Frankcombe have announced the birth of their first child.

The AFL star, 31, announced the joyful news to Instagram on Sunday, by sharing an adorable photo of their newborn son.

‘Arthur Jasper Mihocek 11.10.24,’ posted Mihocek.

The social media post sparked messages of congratulations from Magpies teammates including Alex Pendlebury, Jack Crisp and Mason Cox.

‘Heyyyy Arthur,’ posted Crisp.

The great news comes after other Collingwood players have announced they are expecting new arrivals.

In September, Magpie Jeremy Howe and wife Kahlia let it known that they are expecting their second child.

The premiership defender shared the news to Instagram alongside footage of his adorable son Zander.

In the video, the three-year-old is seen holding up an ultrasound against a white-washed wall.

Jeremy and Kahlia welcomed their first child together back in 2021.

He also paid tribute to his wife of two years Kahlia, commending her for her efforts during the birth.

‘Mumma did an amazing job and being a Mum just suits her. We can’t wait for him to meet all friends and family. Soon… hopefully.’

Meanwhile, the new mum also penned a sweet post online, writing: ‘Welcome to the world little man, you are so loved already! Mum and Dad can’t wait for you to meet all of your friends and family (whenever that may be).’
