AFL star Jy Simpkin has reportedly parted ways from his girlfriend Demi Brereton.
The North Melbourne co-captain is said to have split from his model girlfriend, both 26, after two years together.
The couple are understood to have ‘amicably’ gone their separate ways in recent weeks with their management telling the Herald Sun that they ‘remain good friends’.
The pair have seemingly unfollowed each other on Instagram in a telltale sign as neither of them appear in each other’s following lists on the social media platform.
Midfielder Jy last featured on Demi’s Instagram page when she shared a snap of them together at the Australian Open in January.

Demi also last appeared on Jy’s Instagram that same month, when he shared a selection of pictures documenting a romantic getaway they took together.
It is understood that Demi is heading overseas this weekend while Jy is set to return to the field after being sidelined with a quad injury in Perth last week.
‘Jy has now fully recovered from that quad strain and has ticked off his return to play markers throughout the past week,’ North Melbourne head of performance Kevin White told NMFC Media.
‘He is taking part in unrestricted, full-group trainings and will be available to play this week.’
Just two months ago, Demi gave an update on Jy’s recovery after he took a nasty blow to the head from St Kilda defender Jimmy Webster during a practice.

The Kangaroos player was left concussed when he was flattened on the field by his rival, but Demi told how he was doing ‘really well’ just weeks after the injury.
‘He’s doing really well, I’m just being nurse Demi. Football is so unpredictable,’ she told the Herald Sun at an event in March.
Jy and Demi – who is a successful model – had been dating for just more than two years.
Demi is a former Fashions on the Field winner and was also the 2023 Melbourne Cup Carnival Ambassador.
