- Sydney WAG Paris Tier tracked down her stolen car
- Tier found her car with alleged thief sleeping in it
- She called the police; man has been charged
Quick-thinking Sydney WAG Paris Tier has successfully tracked down a man who allegedly stole her car, leading to police catching him red-handed in a dramatic arrest.
Tier, the girlfriend of GWS Giants player Conor Stone, travelled to Melbourne on Thursday for the AFL grand final weekend, but woke on Friday morning to discover that her VW Golf had been taken.
Tier realised immediately when she tried to buy a bagel that her car wasn’t where it should have been.
‘I just wanted a bagel but my car got stolen,’ she captioned a TikTok she made of herself during the ordeal.
Fortunately, Tier’s iPad was in the back of the car and she could track it down – leading her to a carpark about 15 minutes away in Wheelers Hill in the city’s east.
Tier looked into the car and noticed a man was asleep inside, so she called the police to come and deal with the situation.
Officers arrived and were forced to smash a front window on the vehicle in order to arrest the man.
Tier posted a video to TikTok detailing the dramatic scenes, which concluded with the alleged thief being handcuffed while on the ground.
