For the Spring of 2023, Stacey Bendet of alice + olivia asks ‘Why must glamour only exist outside?’

After renovating her apartment during the pandemic, the New York-based entrepreneur designed an illustrious wardrobe inspired by home decor.

‘It’s not just the dress that makes the woman or the woman that makes the dress, it’s the dress and the woman and the setting that makes the look iconic,’ Stacey told DailyMail.com.

Inspired by renovating her apartment during the pandemic, the New York-based designer fused home interiors and decorating with fashion for her latest offerings

For her spring 23 presentation, Stacey transformed the empty Highline Stages located in NYC’s Meatpacking District next door to her boutique into a wonderland version of home.

‘It was about creating these spaces that brought the clothing to life,’ said the designer.

A-listers, including Katie Holmes and Nicky Hilton Rothschild, were in attendance. Nicky looked glamorous in a leopard cutout dress by the label, while Katie opted for casual cool in a pair of alice + olivia blue jeans.

True to what her brand is known and beloved for, the collection was not a study in minimalist design, but rather a nod to British eclectic style. Colors were bright and patterns were bold.

‘I’ve always said that even through the darkest moments in fashion, clothes are supposed to uplift,’ said Stacey.

‘When a woman gets dressed in the morning, my goal is for her to put something on and smile. I want her to feel good, I don’t want her to be depressed by it. I want to make her feel like 10 times better than the best version of herself.’

Hair was perfected with Morroccanoil products.

‘The skincare look was created by Arbonne. It was all about setting the canvas with a luminous, youthful-looking radiance and the ultimate natural glow,’ said Krystal Vigo, PRIV Esthetician.

Once the skin was prepped and primed, it was ready to start the incredible makeup application using multiple Too Faced products, including their Killer Liner and Lip Injection Plumping Lip Gloss in Wifey For Lifey.

The brand’s new Ethereal Light Concealer was used under the eyes, while their iconic Better Than Sex Mascara was used to finish off the dramatic eye look.

Once the skin was prepped and primed, it was ready to start the incredible makeup application with Too Faced products.

The fun nails look were created with KISS products.

Using KISS Bare But Better Nails in style Nude Drama, nail technicians backstage filed and rounded them into an almond shape.

With different colors of polish in blue, yellow, green, pink and tomato red they  created colored french tips, then applied the final nails with glue to the models’ natural nails.
