Viewers of America’s Got Talent were left baffled by Tyra Banks during Wednesday night’s finale, as she appeared to press her face into comedienne Vicki Barbolak’s cheeks during a bizarre interview.
Vicki, 60, was speaking to the America’s Next Top Model presenter as she was voted out of the final, with Tyra, 44, stood on stage holding a microphone to her mouth.
As Tyra asked her how she was feeling, she moved her face oddly close into Vicki’s and appeared to press her mouth into the side of the comedienne’s cheek.
You ok hun? Viewers of America’s Got Talent were left baffled by Tyra Banks during Wednesday night’s finale, as she appeared to press her face into comedienne Vicki Barbolak’s cheeks during a bizarre interview
At one point it looked as if she was trying to kiss her on the mouth, with some viewers convinced she was about to lick her.
Vicki simply turned away and answered Tyra’s question – but the weird exchange didn’t go unnoticed.
‘Why was Tyra Banks getting so close to Vicki?’ demanded one tweeter during the broadcast, echoed by another who wrote: ‘I thought Tyra was going to lick Vicki’s face. #awkward.’
Someone else posted: ‘Can we talk about how close Tyra got to Vicki?’
A fourth wrote: ‘Wow, uncomfortable close talking there from Tyra with Vicki.’
Others replied ‘I saw that too… Homegirl was in kissing range’ while someone else posted ‘I’m just praying she didn’t have bad breath!’
‘Sooo awkward….. what the hell is wrong with @tyrabanks?!’ someone else demanded.
Vicki, in fact, replied to one of the tweets, typing: ‘Tyra was telling me how wonderful I am. That’s all nothing else.’

The show came to a close when magician Shin Lim won at the end of it, scooping the $1million first prize and a three-night residency in Las Vegas.
Tyra branded the 26-year-old Canadian-American ‘the sexiest magician on the planet!’ as she announced the news during the star-studded live finale from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
Clearly overjoyed at the result, the overwhelmed magician screamed to the audience and his fellow contestants: ‘I love you all so much, I love you all so much… I can’t speak right now’.

Coming in second place to the magician was Zurcaroh – an Austrian dance troupe led by Brazilian choreographer Peterson da Cruz Hora. The incredibly well-honed troupe came just ahead of electric violinist Brian King Joseph, who delightedly walked away with the third prize.
Despite his third place, it was clear to see that judge Mel B was impressed as she said: ‘I’ve had a soft spot for Brian since day one…I know this is not the last we’re going to see of you’.
Stand-up comic Samuel J. Comroe, who has Tourette’s syndrome, finished in fourth place. ‘I love you as a comic, I love you as a person,’ Howie Mandel told him.
Fifth-place went to California-based singer and father-of-six Michael Ketterer. The show’s head honcho Simon Cowell clearly favoured the singer, as he threw his support behind the crooner: ‘You and I are going to continue this relationship’.
