AI reveals the world’s sexiest football managers and you’ll never guess who’s taken top spot!

While some managers will dream of winning league titles or international trophies, there is one accolade that almost every coach aspires to achieve. 

The world’s sexiest football manager. A prestigious, and albeit subjective, award and one that has recently been decided by a bunch of boffins from ticket site SeatPick.

Using their geometric ‘golden ratio’ theory of attractiveness, along with the help of some AI experts, they’ve named the manager that stands above the rest. 

From old rivals Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola to newcomers such as Mikel Arteta and Steven Gerrard, there’s a host of familiar faces that make up the top ten. 

But you’ll never guess which Premier League manager has been crowned the best looking of the bunch!

According to SeatPick, Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag has been crowned the sexiest manager in world football.

The Dutch coach, who turned 53 this year, scored a 7.78 out of ten to claim top spot in the leaderboard.

Followed after him was Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta, who scored a 7.35, with former Barcelona and Real Madrid managers Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho both scoring 7.07 to claim third spot. 

There were a bunch of familiar faces within the top ten with current Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti scoring a 7.02 and ex-Aston Villa coach Steven Gerrard getting a 6.77.

Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was just behind him, with a scoring of 6.76. 

However, there was no room for the likes of Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp or soon-to-be Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino on the list. 

Instead, West Ham boss David Moyes made the cut with a 6.46 rating, with Rafa Benitez following closely behind with a 6.24.

And in tenth place, somehow, is former Newcastle boss Kevin Keegan. The 72-year-old was known for his tremendous mullet back in the day, so maybe that’s been factored in.

AI has been all the rage recently and, just last week, an AI supercomputer revealed the likely final standings for the Premier League table.

It claimed that Liverpool are now believed to have a 28.5 per cent chance of jumping ahead of Manchester United into the top-four.

It comes on the back of a six-game winning streak which means they are one point behind the Red Devils and three behind Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United – although both sides have a game-in-hand.

Erik ten Hag’s side are said to have a 20 per cent chance of falling out of the Champions League spots, but Newcastle are closing in on a top-four finish – with the supercomputer giving them just a 8.8 per cent chance of slipping out.

At the top of the table, Man City look destined to lift the Premier League trophy and they have been given a 90.7 per cent chance of beating Arsenal to the title.
