Holiday rental company AirBnB has banned a cancer blogger from its six million properties after she called a host the C-word after they cancelled her booking at the last minute.

Heidi Loughlin had paid a £200 deposit for a mini-break with the company, when weeks before the planned trip her host contacted her to say the property in Massachusetts U.S that she had reserved was no longer available.

The host then told Heidi that she would need to contact AirBnB for a refund.

The blogger, who runs her ‘Storm in a tit cup’ page, said she had already been through the process with another property, which had also fallen through.

She told the man that all he needed to do was click a button and her money would be refunded to her bank account.

The mother-of-three, who tragically lost her baby after being diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer was then told by the provider that he wouldn’t be issuing the refund.

Heidi from Bristol said the response had been like waving a red flag at a bull and it was then that she responded with the C-bomb.

Heidi (left with actor Jamie Dornan) complained to AirBnB about the host. She was then banned after revealed that she swore at him (Heidi right receiving treatment)

She then tweeted AirBnB who have since refunded her the money, but in turn, have banned her from the site which Heidi says is ‘absolutely hilarious’ as she believes she was defrauded.

She said: ‘It was annoying when the place fell through but I was like ‘never mind I’ll just book somewhere else’. Everywhere was by now three times the price but these things happen.

‘I said to him all he needed to do was click a button and I’d get my £200 deposit back, I couldn’t book anything else without it because I needed the money.

‘He just replied ‘nope’. I think he was hoping to keep the money. I saw just red then, it was like waving a red flag at a bull.

‘I dropped the C-bomb.

‘I tweeted Airbnb and complained and eventually they sorted it out. But they said they had to ban me because of my language.’

Speaking to MailOnline Heidi added that the particular property has now been shut down due to city regulations.

She said: ‘The host ‘Kevin’ stated that Airbnb had delisted the property and that I had to contact them to receive my money back. He was attempting to hold onto the deposit in my opinion.

‘He still has other properties listed for sale’.

She said she doesn’t regret using the ‘rude word’ and added: ‘I wholly stand by and don’t regret.’

Sharing her experience with her 14,000 Facebook followers, many praised Heidi for handling the situation so well.

One said: ‘Good for you standing your ground! You rock.’

While another added: ‘Love the message u sent back.’

Heidi added: ‘The post has amused a lot of people and that is compensation enough for me.’

In a statement AirBnB said: ‘We do not tolerate abusive language of any kind and have Standards in place which we ask all of the Airbnb community to agree to. As a result, we have removed this user from the platform.’

Heidi was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer in 2015. She was told she had the disease while pregnant and refused chemotherapy.

Doctors told her the cancer was terminal and gave her four years to live.

Sadly just three days after Ally Louise Smith was born, she developed an infection and died at Southmead Hospital.

But her latest scan has shown her body to be currently free of the disease.
