Ajax star Matthijs de Ligt has revealed he has ‘several options’ on the table and is ‘excited’ about the future.
At the end of a brilliant season, in which he won the Eredivisie title and reached the Champions League semi-finals, De Ligt has attracted heavy interest from the likes of Manchester United, City, Barcelona and Liverpool.
And the 19-year-old, whose agent is Mino Raiola, has openly admitted he has more than one offer on the table for his signature this summer.

Speaking to RTL Boulevard, De Ligt said: ‘I am very excited about what the nearest future may bring me, but I am also calm, I see it as a challenge, that is the most important thing.’
‘There are several options, what I do is to see which is the best option, it seems logical that one option is better than the other.’
It appears the central defender is certain to leave Amsterdam this summer, alongside a host of other talented Ajax players, including Barcelona-bound Frenkie de Jong, Donny van de Beek and Hakim Ziyech.
On the challenges that await him in either the Premier League or La Liga, De Ligt added: ‘It could be difficult, but I am a normal Dutchman, I am not very different from the rest, maybe abroad everything will be more intense.’
