Ajay Rochester appears unrecognisable in Los Angeles

She was one of the biggest stars on Australian TV during the mid 2000s.

But fast forward to 2018 and Ajay Rochester, 48, is living the quiet life in Beverly Hills.

The former Biggest Loser host was pictured taking her pet chihuahua Peanut for a walk on Thursday.  

The sighting came as she shared a bizarre Facebook post begging for Aussie food supplies.   

The former Australian media personality appeared to have just woken up as she strolled along the affluent streets of Beverly Hills.

Rubbing her eyes, Ajay wore a black tracksuit over a blue tie dye dress. 

Also on Thursday Ajay shared a bizarre Facebook post, which now appears to be deleted, begging her friends to ‘bring me some supplies’.

‘Can transfer money to aussie [sic] bank account,’ she wrote, before listing off the food items she was after.

‘Need any/all of these: Kraft Lite crunchy peanut butter, gravox, vegemite travel tube, cottees red cordial, cherry ripes and maybe even some golden crumpets (freeze them and they travel fine).’ 

Rising to fame as the host of The Biggest Loser from 2006 to 2009, Ajay moved to Los Angeles in 2009 after a highly publicised Australian court case.

 In 2008 she was charged with welfare fraud and a high profile case ensued – for which Ajay avoided a conviction, Fairfax Media reported.

Prior to the court case, she repaid $14,000 in Centrelink payments. 

She was replaced as Biggest Loser host by Hayley Lewis in 2009 and Ajay later revealed she had starved herself to maintain her appearance on the show.

She lives in the United States with her 10-year-old son Kai.
