The You Oughta Know was photographed arriving for her guest appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she was greeted by a swarm of people.
Morissette, 49, flashed a smile during her walk to the entrance doors to Studio 6B at 30 Rockefeller Plaza.
The Ottawa, Ontario, Canada native looked rockstar chic in black vinyl pants, a matching jacket over a black T-shirt and hot pink sneakers.
She also had a light black jacket that she wore when she exited the studio after her spot with Fallon.

On this night, the superstar musician had her dark brown tresses styled in loose layers and she rocked a sexy smokey eyeshadow look.
The Jagged Little Pill artist was ushered from her vehicle towards the studio doors with the help of her handlers and Tonight Show security.
She was also photographed after the talk show and appeared jovial to reunite with her admirers on the sidewalk.
While Morissette has released 10 studio albums during her illustrious career, it is her third record, Jagged Little Pill (1995), that she will forever be known for due to its incredible success.
The alternative rock-oriented album featured six hit songs that included You Oughta Know, Hand In My Pocket, You Learn, Ironic, Head Over Feet and All I really Want.
The music and lyrics for the now classic album were a stylistic departure from the dance-pop sound of her first two releases Alanis (1991) and Now Is The Time (1992).

Morissette’s studio album, Jagged Little Pill, became a worldwide phenomenon, selling more than 33 million copies and being adapted into a rock musical of the same name
Over the years, Jagged Little Pill sold more than 33 million copies worldwide, and was even adapted into a rock musical of the same name in 2017 that initially ran at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
It also began running previews for a version on Broadway but had to be closed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It reopened on October 21, 2021, and closed on December 17 of that same year, and went on to win two awards on 15 nominations at the 74th Tony Awards in New York City.
Most recently, Morissette has been out on tour following the release of her latest album The Storm Before the Calm (2022).
She is teaming with Joan Jett & The Blackhearts and Morgan Wade for The Triple Moon Tour that begins on June 9, 2024 in Phoenix, Arizona and runs for 31 shows until August 10 in Los Angeles.
