Alarming images emerge of former Aussie TV star looking unrecognisable

He shot to fame as the buff Gold Coast carpenter on Australian Ninja Warrior.

And now shocking images of Jack Wilson have emerged online in which the once muscular hunk is completely unrecognisable from his time on television.

Wilson, 30, appears to have shed masses of body weight since he first appeared on the competition series in 2017.

In a video shared to his Instagram, Wilson, shirtless with a shaved head and baggy blue shorts, can be seen sitting on his bed doing ‘stomach exercises’.

The former reality star, who is known for practising alternative medicine, can be seen sucking in his stomach, which reveals a graphic outline of his ribcage.

Dubbing the fitness manoeuvre a ‘vacuum stomach’, Wilson explained the bizarre exercise to his followers.

[‘It helps to stabilise] the spine and prevent excessive loading that can cause injury and pain,’ he wrote.

‘Strengthening inner core, stimulating organs, removing toxins [and] strengthening overall health.’

While most of Wilson’s followers appeared to be impressed with the technique, one fan appeared to be sceptical, posting the comment: ‘Bro has lost the plot.’

Wilson’s new image contrasts wildly to how most fans remember him from his multiple appearances on Australian Ninja Warrior.

Born in Mount Isa, Queensland, the proud Indigenous man was known for his signature Budgy Smugglers.

Wilson first appeared on Australian Ninja Warrior in 2017, and was touted as the show’s ‘first Indigenous Ninja’.

In October 2022, he made headlines after revealing he drinks, snorts and bathes in his own urine for its supposed health benefits.

Known for spruiking bizarre alternative health theories, Wilson believes urine has ‘ancient healing qualities’.

The Queensland tradie shared footage on Instagram of himself urinating in a hollowed-out pawpaw and drinking the liquid.

There is no scientific evidence that drinking urine offers any health benefits.
