An adorable video shows an owner trying to teach her Alaskan Malamute puppy to growl.

The tiny puppy named Finnick can’t seem to get the hang of the noise.

The owner growls at the pup as an example for him to mimic.

Instead he responds with tiny raspy yaps and whimpers as if he is talking to her.

The Malamute breed is known for strength and stamina and looks similar to a wolf when fully grown. They are commonly overly aggressive, so teaching Finnick to growl may not be a great idea.

The video was posted to Jukin Media on August 10. It is unclear where it was recorded or who submitted it to the site.
