A man and a woman have been found dead at a house in a suspected murder-suicide.
A man in his 40s and a woman in her 70s were found with gunshot wounds on Jambaroo Street at Albany Creek, north of Brisbane, at 5.30pm on Sunday.
‘A crime scene remains at the property and investigations into the circumstances of their deaths are ongoing,’ a Queensland Police spokesman said.
‘Investigators are appealing to anyone who may have seen or heard anything in the vicinity of Jambaroo Street before 5.30pm to come forward.
‘There is no threat to the community.’

The pair were known to each other.
A neighbour said the man and woman had been longtime residents on the street.
‘They have been here as long as I’ve been here, for at least 20 years,’ he said.
‘I always walk past the house, but I’ve never spoken to them, there is always someone at the front.
‘One is always yelling at one another.’
The house had been bordered up with the neighbour describing it as weird.
‘There is always junk everywhere,’ he said.
‘The air conditioner is always running and there was foil on the windows.’
