Albuquerque Walmart security uses car to run down cyclist

Walmart surveillance footage shows the moment a security guard allegedly used her car to run down a bicyclist in the Albuquerque store’s parking lot.

Albuquerque Police said Carmen Fulcher, the security guard driving the car, used the vehicle to knock down the bicyclist on July 21, around 6.30pm.

Recently released surveillance footage showed Fulcher’s security car driving through the parking lot during her patrol as a man on a bicycle passes her.

The white vehicle then whips around and chases the man down at a high speed.

Albuquerque Police said Carmen Fulcher, the security guard driving the car, used the vehicle to knock down the bicyclist

In the video, the car is seen hitting the man on the bike before backing up and hitting the man a second time, which appeared to be a harder hit than the first.

Last month, when Fulcher was arrested she told police that she’s ‘had problems’ with the victim in the past, according to KRQE.

She claimed that while she was driving around the garden center ‘he hit the car with a soda’.

‘And so I turned around really quickly and I started yelling at him. And next to the donation box, he hit the curb and I pulled up and he said I hit him,’ she told police.

Fulcher told police that she didn’t actually hit the man with her car, but authorities said the new security car had a bike tire mark on it and a chip in the paint, according to KRQE.

Her supervisor confirmed the vehicle had no dents, scratches or marks when Walmart security got it.

The victim said he accidentally splashed the car with water as he took a sip while pedaling his bike (pictured)

But the victim said he accidentally splashed the car with water as he took a sip while pedaling.

The bike’s back tire was bent and damaged after the incident and the man had scrapes and bruises on his leg.

Fulcher, who was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, was shocked when she was arrested last month.

She was released a few days later on her own recognizance. It’s unclear if she has been fired from her position at Walmart following the incident.
