Shoppers are loving Aldi’s $4.99 potato gratin stuffed with mushrooms and truffle.
Emily Clair Webster, from Brisbane, shared a glowing review on TikTok after she got her hands on the bargain buy, which comes in a pack of four, costing just $1.24 each.
The baked product, which can be served as a snack or as a side, consists of a creamy potato gratin with pieces of mushrooms and hints of truffle flavour.
The potato gratin can be baked in the oven or air fryer at 200C for up to 20 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
‘They come out so beautifully crispy on the outside, and creamy on the inside. These are so delicious, they would make a great snack or side dish,’ Emily said.
Her video has since been viewed more than 50,000 times, with many customers saying it’s one of their favourite buys from Aldi.
‘My boyfriend’s mum makes us these potato gratin with other stuff for dinner, usually once a week – they are literally my favourite,’ one wrote.
Others said they couldn’t wait to give it a go.
