Interior design trends to be aware of

Layering

This look is all about combining tactile elements to create an elegant aesthetic.

Think French linen, knitted throws and plush velvet combined with wood.

Mauve

Mauve was a key colour trend from this year’s Milan Design Week.

This soft purple hue works well with taupe and shades of grey.

They have salt and pepper mills in an assortment of colours which are priced at $9.99.

For many this will be a much more attractive offer than a similar pair from Urban Couture that cost $129.

Another offer for the dinner table is Aldi’s four pack of charcoal, white or pink dinnerware.

This only sets customers back an affordable $6.99, compared to high end versions that can cost $249 from Royal Doulton.

If customers are after a placemat set to go under their new set of bowls, Aldi is selling their own checkered print versions for $12.99.
