Alessandra Ambrosio celebrated her daughter Anja Mazur’s 16th birthday over the weekend.
The 43-year-old Brazilian model — who was spotted playing volleyball in Santa Monica this month — used Instagram to mark the special occasion as she paid tribute to her firstborn child.
Sharing a collection of black and white images of her and Anja, who she shares with ex-fiancé Jamie Mazur, she added a heartfelt caption.
‘Happy Sweet 16, my darling Anja! Today marks a major milestone in your journey to becoming an extraordinary woman,’ she began.
The former Victoria’s Secret Angel gushed, ‘I couldn’t be more proud of the incredible person you’re growing up to be – strong, kind, intelligent, creative, and beautiful inside and out.’

‘As your mom, I feel grateful to witness your growth and evolution. I promise to always be here for you, to love you unconditionally, guide you with compassion, and hold your hand through life’s ups and downs.’
Wrapping up the affectionate message, Alessandra wrote: ‘Here’s to many more years of love, laughter, and adventure!
‘May your birthday be as bright and wonderful as you are. I love you more than words can express, now and forever.’
The proud mother, who is also parent to 12-year-old son Noah, signed off in Portuguese, ‘Feliz aniversário, minha princesa! Mamãe te ama.’
In another post, an Instagram reel, Ambrosio put together a montage of Anja from the time she was a newborn.
She wrote in the caption, ‘And how great is my love for you… My doll, princess, the most beautiful flower in the world My ANJA.’

The runway regular shared a similar gushing post last August on her little girl’s 15th birthday.
Last August the mother-of-two paid tribute to her daughter in an online post as she turned 15.
‘A very happy 15th birthday!!! May all your dreams come true and I’m so proud of the woman you are becoming @anjaambrosiom – te amo infinitamente,’ she wrote on social media at the time.
