And Alessandra Ambrosio looked the picture of relaxation when she was photographed gamboling about on a beach in her native Brazil.
The 36-year-old modeled a powder blue bikini as she ambled across the sands on Praia Brava in Santa Catarina – the state where both her children were born.

Alessandra had swept her hair back into a bun and accessorized with shades, multiple bracelets and necklaces and on occasion a straw hat.
At one point, the grinning supermodel was seen carrying a flower in her right hand as the other hand held her cellphone to her ear.
Adding a stylish flourish to her look, the lady affectionately nicknamed Ale had flung a translucently lacy white jacket over her swimsuit.

The wrap came off as she settled on a towel-strewn beach chair, resting her scarlet-nailed fingers on her thighs as she soaked in some sun.
Even while lounging in a beach chair, however, Alessandra was seen keeping up a bit with the rest of the world, checking her phone.
It was near the end of last year, just prior to walking the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show during its first Shanghai edition, that she revealed her retirement.

Ale, who became an Angel in 2000, spilled the news to Entertainment Tonight, and predicted a continuing warm rapport with her ‘family’ of Angel confrères.
She told The Edit in 2016 that ‘Growing up in Brazil, it’s the curves that I remember most. Brazilians don’t just appreciate curves – they worship them.’
The model explained that ‘It comes from that carnival culture, where women will parade around barely wearing a thing – just a tiny bikini, G-string or feathers.’

She’s held that ‘Every woman’s body is spectacular there, not because it’s perfect but because they’re loving life. It’s never been about having a Barbie-like physique in Brazil but having the right curves, whatever your proportions or size.’
Alessandra’s been engaged since 2008 to RE/DONE founder Jamie, by whom she’s got a nine-year-old daughter called Anja and a five-year-old son called Noah.
Both were born in Florianópolis, the capital of Santa Catarina.
