Brendan Fevola’s fiancée Alex slams ‘derogatory’ rumours about their daughter Mia’s dating history: ‘Why try to belittle someone?’
Alex Fevola has slammed rumours that her daughter Mia Fevola is dating ‘footballer’ Daniel Grant.
The pair were linked after Mia, 22, met up with the businessman during her recent holiday in Bali.
‘He’s a friend and he’s not a footballer. It’s so derogatory the terminology used and the inference to it’, Alex, 45, told The Herald Sun on Sunday.

‘Why is there the want to portray it that way and to belittle someone?’ she added of the recent rumours.
It comes after the model was pictured at a restaurant in Bali with Daniel, who plays for local division club Sorrento Sharks, earlier this month.
Mia, who is holidaying on the Indonesian party island with friends, was sitting next to Daniel and several other pals as they enjoyed drinks before dinner.

The stepdaughter of AFL great Brendan Fevola has denied her relationship with Daniel is romantic, insisting they simply share a ‘close friendship’.
The Herald Sun reports she has developed a strong interest in Daniel’s footy team.
She previously dated Western Bulldogs forward Jamarra Ugle-Hagan, but ended things with him last year just after the Grand Final.

According to reports, Mia and Jamarra, 20, split as a result of external stresses placed on their fledgling romance.
A source told The Herald Sun there was ‘too much pressure’ on the young couple, who had been dating for 12 months.
Mia announced her split from Jamarra on Instagram in September, and also deleted all pictures of the footy star from her account.
