Alex Jones, 47, slips into her swimsuit for a dip with her daughter Annie, three, as she shares snap from family holiday in Corsica

Alex Jones is enjoying a family break with her husband Charlie Thomson and their three children in Corsica.

The One Show star, who is currently on a break from the BBC show, shared a snap as she soaked up some sun and family time with her three kids – sons Teddy, seven, Kit, five, and daughter Annie, three.

Alex looked gorgeous in a green swimsuit as she paddled in the pool at her resort with her little girl in a snap shared to Instagram on Sunday. 

It’s been a busy time for the family who recently made a major house move – leaving London and moving into their new home. 

Before her holiday Alex posted a photo on Instagram sharing a kiss with her insurance broker partner outside their new home, with a glass of wine to celebrate their milestone. 

The television presenter penned an emotional caption to go alongside the loved-up picture, explaining that the family have made the ‘big decision’ to leave London and move somewhere closer to nature. 

The BBC star has been keeping her Instagram followers up-to-date on her journey and has been regularly sharing clips of her packing up  her house. 

Alex admitted it was an ’emotional’ time for her as she prepared to leave her former home of 11 years.

The decision came as the couple, who have been married for nine years, decided that they wanted a different environment for their children.

The snap gave fans a peek at the new property which seemed to be situated in a sunny garden as the couple posed outside on a patio with an olive tree in the background.

In the caption, Alex wrote: ‘We made it and are completely delighted with the new house. Thank you so much for all your messages of support over the last few weeks. 

‘We are obviously living in complete chaos but it already feels like home.

The presenter had been sharing pictures of herself on Instagram with piles of boxes and had taken fans on a trip down memory lane on July 5, as she packed her life up before the big move

‘It was a big decision to leave West London where we have been very happy for 14 years but we wanted the children to have space to play outside and to grow up in nature. It took nearly 4 years of searching to find the ‘one’. 

‘Somewhere where the children could appreciate nature but yet close enough to London for me to get to work and we have. 

‘It feels like she was waiting for us to find her. We feel very lucky ❤️’
