She was thrust into the celebrity spotlight in 2016 when she (briefly) won the heart of Richie Strahan on The Bachelor.
And Alex Nation revealed this week that the fame and attention she received after filming the show completely consumed her life.
In a series of videos posted to Instagram on Thursday, the 26-year-old claimed that being caught up in the media resulted in an identity crisis.

During a Q&A with fans, she said: ‘[The Bachelor] changed me negatively because I think I lost sight of who I was for a while.’
Alex, who is a mother to seven-year-old son Elijah, admitted that her sudden fame made her intensely focused on staying in the spotlight.
‘I was so focused on going to events and being in the media,’ she added.
‘It all changed overnight and so quickly and I felt pressure to be a certain way, act a certain way, do a certain thing.
‘In the end, I guess, for a little while there I just forgot to be me and I actually didn’t know who that was for a bit.’
Fame ultimately had an expiry date for Alex, who returned to full-time work this year after being unable to make enough money selling sponsored posts on Instagram.

Alex rose to fame on The Bachelor in 2016 and dated leading man Richie Strahan for several months after the finale aired.
However, they secretly split in mid-2017.
Alex later began a relationship with her Frankston Bombers teammate Maegan Luxa, but the pair ended their whirlwind romance in April.
