Alexa Nikolas was spotted protesting outside the Nickelodeon headquarters in Burbank, CA, on Saturday.
The Zoey 101 star claimed she was traumatized making the hit show.
While speaking to TMZ during her protest, Alexa said she wished her costars on the Nickelodeon show would have joined her in protesting the network, rather than accepting another paycheck.

‘I did not feel safe as a child on set, and I really hope that my generation fights for that future generation,’ she said.
The 30-year-old alleged victim — who also accused her ex-husband of sexual abuse in 2021 — protested along the sidewalk with a group of supporters who held signs outside the network.
Nikolas feels moving forward with a new version of the show is a slap in the face against herself and other alleged victims.
When asked if she was invited to participate in the new show, Alexa replied, ‘no.’
slapShe then added, ‘I wouldn’t have been a part of it regardless, but I just wish they reached out to me to see if I was okay or to say that they supported, you know, me.’

Alexa clarified that none of the cast had reached out to her on the topic as they continued to work on the new show without her.
‘It just kind of feels counterintuitive to support a network, um, that I feel was complicit in, um, childhood trauma.

Nikolas also opened up about her feeling toward old costars who will be working on the new version of the show.
She added, ‘I just kind of wish that (giggles) the Zoey 101 cast was here today and not doing Zoey 102, you know.’
Nikolas referenced Jamie Lynn Spears, who is going forward with the reboot in spite of everything that Alexa has said.
‘I really hope I do see her on a protest in the future.’
In August 2021, Zoey sued her ex-husband Michael Milosh for alleged abuse and claimed the singer manipulated her into marrying him.
She claimed the ‘manipulation’ culminated in the couple’s 2012 marriage when Nikolas was 19 years old.

Alexa is seeking an unspecified amount of damages.
