Now you can find out, as a Reddit user has made an algorithm revealing the ‘average face’ of people in different professions.
Faces created include one made using the world’s top 500 golfers, one made up of every UK Member of Parliament, and a creepy combination of the top 1,000 male and female porn stars.
The top 500 football players in the world have also been combined, as have the best 100 male and female tennis players.

The faces were created by Reddit user Osmutiar, a student at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, who has crafted several of the strange images over the past month.
Osmutiar also re-posted an image that combines the heads of every UK Member of Parliament, created by Giuseppe Sollazzo.
The images use a facial alignment algorithm to combine the heads of hundreds of people into a single image.
Each face is plotted along three different axis in the software to make sure their features align even if their heads are different heights and widths.
An algorithm then layers each face on top of one another, creating a strange blurred effect.
Osmutiar recently posted a face that combined the top 500 golfers in the world.
For the first time in his project, he revealed some of the results, identifying which golfers were closest to the algorithmic golfer face, and which were furthest.

A face made up of every UK Member of Parliament that was created by Giuseppe Sollazzo drew particular interest from Reddit users, with some asking why it looked so young and airbrushed.
User Nieios responded: ‘A lot of the general signs of ageing like wrinkles and excess skin are smoothed out by the averaging of the pictures.

‘It pretty much removes all inconsistencies, so it loses most of what we perceive age from.’
Osmutiar also created an image made up of the faces of the top 1,000 female porn stars.
The image is more blurred than the others in his collection, leading some users to suggest the high number of photographs used may have confused the algorithm.
Reddit user i8AP4T wrote: ‘This is what every girl looks like when you are 20 and black out drunk.’

Most recently, Osmutiar has posted a combination of the top 200 NBA basketball players onto his thread, and promises to cover professional hockey players next.
To create a facial average image, each picture must have as many as 70 facial landmarks mapped using a special piece of software.
Because heads can be of varying sizes, they are often normalised to the same reference frame by warping them so that specific facial landmarks are aligned at the same point for each image.
This creates a coordinate system that can then be run through an algorithm to combine each facial image into a single average.
