She’s taken over the iconic action role from Angelina Jolie, 42, in the newly-rebooted franchise.
And Alicia Vikander turned heads in her stunning floral frock, as she arrived on the red carpet at the Tomb Raider premiere in London’s Leicester Square on Tuesday night.
The actress, 29, exuded elegance in the low-cut number, which boasted a pretty floral pattern and ruffled detailing on the shoulders.
Alicia’s show-stopping dress featured a daring V-neck line and saucy split at the front, which showed off a hint of her toned legs.
Keeping all eyes on her oriental look, the Oscar winner accessorised with barely-there gold earrings and a matching bangle, as well as towering metallic heeled sandals to add further height to her already leggy frame.
The Swedish star, who hails from Gothenburg, wore her brunette locks pulled back in a high braided ponytail and set off her look with natural make-up.
Earlier on Tuesday, Alicia spoke about her ‘dream’ Tomb Raider role, explaining: ‘I grew up playing the game actually and saw Angelina Jolie up on the screen, it meant a huge amount back then to finally see a woman lead that kind of action film.

‘I could not lift my own weight when I started this film – I [needed] to get this kind of physique.’ However, she did say of her eight-pack: ‘It all goes away sadly, very quickly.’
Alicia, who trained in ballet in her youth, endured boxing, MMA [Mixed Martial Arts], rock climbing and archery, which she described as a ‘really wonderful experience’.
The Swedish beauty has been one of the most in demand stars in Hollywood since her breakout role in 2014’s Ex Machina opposite Irish actor Domhnall Gleeson.
Alicia was joined on the red carpet by her co-star Kristin Scott Thomas – who stars as Ana Miller in the flick, an associate at the company owned by Lara’s deceased father Richard, Croft Holdings.

The 57-year-old opted for a more toned down ensemble of a sleek black cape gown – which pulled into a sophisticated high-neck before expanding in a shift style to the floor.
In an added glamorous touch however, the dress extended into long sleeves, which then split into chic semi-sheer chiffon cuffs to break up the black hue.
The five-time BAFTA nominee kept co-ordinated with a black satin clutch bag, but accessorised with a striking glass bracelet as she posed on the carpet.
Styling her pixie crop to one side, and sporting a shimmering bronze eye look and bold red lip, Kristin looked far younger than her years as she beamed for cameras beside her co-stars.

Despite not appearing in the film themselves, a number of other guests made head-turning arrivals at the event, including Jaime Winstone and Tallia Storm.
Jaime, 32, ditched the traditional red carpet gown and instead slipped into a light grey trouser suit and sky-high velvet platforms.
The jacket featured quirky pointed shoulders and cuffs, but dipped into a daringly low V at the neck, to give a flash of her saucy black mesh bra underneath.
She teamed the blazer with matching fitted trousers, and offset the androgynous look with delicate drop earrings and a berry lip, as she posed fiercely for cameras.

The premiere however comes after Alicia endured an awkward interview with Kate Garraway on Tuesday’s Lorraine, which saw the actress dodge questions about her marriage to Michael.
When Kate, who was filling in for Lorraine Kelly, asked her about their romance, there were lots of silent moments and nodding, with the notoriously private actress saying: ‘Well, I’ve had the most happy year.’
Kate replied: ‘It suits you, being married.’ Alicia said nonchalantly: ‘I carry a smile on my face most of the time’, before adding that her husband is just as tight-lipped, stating: ‘It’s a lovely thing to choose to be private, even though you’ve got this career.’
Some viewers noticed the tension and wrote about it on Twitter, commenting:’ Lol at how much Alicia Vikander did not want to talk about Michael Fassbender. The silence and nodding said it all, leave her be. #lorraine.’

Another said: ‘Well that interview on ITV with #Aliciavikander wasn’t awkward at all! She obviously didn’t want to discuss Michael Fassbender so leave it alone. #gmb.’
The couple fell in love on the set of their movie The Light Between Oceans, which was filmed in 2014, but did not make their debut together on a red carpet until the 2016 Golden Globe Awards.
Things went from strength to strength and the pair went on to tie the knot in a destination wedding in Ibiza last year, with guests such as film director Steve McQueen.
Alicia and Michael relocated to Lisbon together last year and speaking of the move she revealed to Elle magazine: ‘When I met my husband three and a half years ago, he had mentioned he’d been to Lisbon and loved it, and I knew friends who were moving out there.
‘And that was a time when I was just starting to feel really at home in London. But after Brexit I think I was like, “Meh, you know what, I want to stay in Europe.”‘
