Leading lady Alicia recalled how she looked up to Hollywood sensation Angelina when she watched the film as a kid.
‘I grew up playing the game actually and saw Angelina Jolie up on the screen,’ she said. ‘It meant a huge amount back then to finally see a woman lead that kind of action film.’
The ballet trained beauty pushed herself to the limit for the part when she endured boxing, Mixed Martial Arts, rock climbing and archery.
‘I could not lift my own weight when I started this film,’ she said. ‘I needed to get this kind of physique. The eight-pack, it goes away sadly, very quickly.’

The Swedish beauty has been one of the most in demand stars in Hollywood since her breakout role in 2014’s Ex Machina opposite Irish actor Domhnall Gleeson.
Alicia gave a rare glimmer into her very private romance with her actor husband Michael Fassbender, 40.
She told ELLE magazine: ‘The first two times we met, we didn’t chat, we only danced.’
The married lovers, who enjoy a very private romance, relocated to Lisbon and live happily together there.

She explained further to the publication: ‘When I met my husband three and a half years ago, he had mentioned he’d been to Lisbon and loved it, and I knew friends who were moving out there.
‘And that was a time when I was just starting to feel really at home in London. But after Brexit I think I was like, “Meh, you know what, I want to stay in Europe.”‘
However, during an appearance on Lorraine, the actress dodged questions about her lover in an awkward interview with Kate Garraway.
When Kate, who was filling in for Lorraine Kelly, asked her about their romance, there were lots of silent moments and nodding.
The notoriously private actress told the television presenter: ‘Well, I’ve had the most happy year.’ Kate replied: ‘It suits you, being married.’
Alicia said nonchalantly: ‘I carry a smile on my face most of the time’, before adding that her husband is just as tight-lipped, stating: ‘It’s a lovely thing to choose to be private, even though you’ve got this career.’
The Alicia and Michael love story goes back to when sparks first flew while filming on the set of their movie The Light Between Oceans in 2014.
But the married lovebirds didn’t make their debut together on the red carpet until the 2016 Golden Globe Awards.
The pair went on to tie the knot in a destination wedding in Ibiza in 2017, with guests such as film director Steve McQueen.
