Alison Brie flashes a smile as she steps out in a blue mini-dress and stylish hound’s-tooth jacket in New York City

Alison Brie was seen smiling as she stepped out in New York City on Tuesday.

The Mad Men star, 41, was heading to NBC Studios, presumably to do press for her new series.

She is currently starring in Peacock’s hit series Apples Never Fall.

The brunette was dressed in a stylish blue mini-dress that showcased her slender legs.

Alison added tights, perhaps to keep warm in New York’s chilly weather, and wore a classic hound’s-tooth jacket.

She accessorized with a designer handbag that matched her heels.

Brie is best known for her star-making turn as Trudy Campbell in Mad Men and for playing Annie Edison in Community.

She also starred as Ruth ‘Zoya the Destroya’ Wilder in the female wrestling drama GLOW, which ran for three seasons on Netflix.

Produced by streaming giant Peacock, Apples Never Fall is the latest limited series based on one of Liane Moriarty’s bestselling novel.

Moriarty’s biggest hit has been HBO’s Big Little Lies, which starred Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon and Meryl Streep.

Annette Bening and Sam Neill will join Jake Lacy and Brie as series regulars on the thriller.

The series Apples Never Fall is focused on the Delaneys, who appear to be the perfect family from outside – but not everything is as it seems.

After decades of marriage together, the couple have sold-up their tennis academy to start their twilight years together.

The $79 million production is a collaboration between Universal Studio Group and Australia’s Matchbox Pictures.
