Alison Brie flaunts cleavage in slip dress for Gotham

Alison Brie was certainly a-GLOW in a $400 amethyst Issa silk slip dress and vintage sixties feathered hat for a new high-fashion spread styled by Jacqueline Zenere and photographed by Diego Uchitel.

‘Being in my mid-30s, I’m feeling satisfied in life,’ the SAG Award winner – turning 35 Friday – told Gotham Magazine.

‘I got married earlier this year [to her frequent co-star and longtime boyfriend Dave Franco]. I think there are a lot of [areas] where I figured out what I want. I know who I am, and I’m proud of it.’

In one shot, the BoJack Horseman funnywoman boosted her cleavage in a $14K tennis-patterned Thom Browne overcoat fastened with a $695 Monique Lhuillier belt and $350 Chanel swim trunks.

Alison’s retro sixties lashes were applied by make-up artist Jo Strettell and her brunette bob was coiffed by hairstylist Robert Vetica for the shoot.

Brie (born Schermerhorn) also glammed up in two ultra-sheer pastel gowns, including a $995 Christopher Kane pink pompom dress and matching $870 Oscar de la Renta ‘Glenn’ mules.

The final look the SoCal native donned was a white Brandon Maxwell ribbed bustier gown featuring a waterfall front.

Alison was starstruck on the set of Steven Spielberg’s political thriller The Post starring Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks, which hits hits US theaters January 12 and UK theaters January 19.

‘There are so many points in my life where I’ve [thought]: Now I’m living the dream,’ Brie told the mag.

‘And then you’re standing there, in the middle of a set, taking direction from Steven Spielberg, in a scene with Meryl Streep. No, now I’m living the dream. Talk about setting the bar high. I guess I’ll never do another movie ever again.’

The Cal Arts grad plays real-life Washington Post senior associate editor Lally Graham (now Weymouth) in the political thriller, which she found ‘so relevant to today.’

‘I think it’s really important that a movie like this gets made now,’ Alison – whose father is an entertainment journalist – continued.

‘To remind people of our country’s history and why it’s important to have a free press.’

The GLOW stunner will next compete against Pamela Adlon, Rachel Brosnahan, Issa Rae, and Frankie Shaw for the best actress in a musical/comedy trophy at the Golden Globe Awards airing January 7 on NBC.

‘They didn’t want me. [They wanted] someone more unknown,’ Brie said of her character Ruth ‘Zoya the Destroya’ Wilder.

‘I just beat them down. They tried to make me jump through hoops, and I was happy to jump through those hoops. Give me more hoops! They said, “You were becoming the character the more you were coming in, the more you were determined to get it.’
