A troubled Home and Away heartthrob, an Olympic swimmer, a retired NRL star and a model: Meet the new cast of SAS Australia as all 17 of the 2022 recruits are confirmed
From an NRL player to a boxer, Network Seven has announced the 17 celebrities set to star on season three of SAS Australia.
The network released the full line-up for the military-style competition on Sunday, and it features a mixture of famous and controversial participants.
The contestants include retired NRL star Darius Boyd, model Simone Holtznagel as well as Bachelor stars Anna Heinrich and Locky Gilbert.

They will appear alongside former Olympic swimmer Geoff Huegill, Olympic diver Melissa Wu, AFL star Barry Hall, Real Housewives of Sydney’s Melissa Tkautz and convicted cocaine dealer Richard Buttrose.
Boxers Ebanie Bridges and Michael Zerafa as well as comedian Paul Fenech, rugby star Ellia Green, NRLW player Millie Boyle, motorsports presenter Riana Crehan, and AFL commentator Wayne Carey are also set to compete on the show.
Troubled Home and Away heart-throb Orpheus Pledger, who was arrested allegedly in possession of methamphetamine in February, will also appear on the program.

The new participants took part in a promotional photo shoot in Sydney on Friday, with filming set to begin this weekend.
According to a recent report by TV Tonight, filming will take place in the NSW Blue Mountains.
While the show will use the same base camp as season two, some of the locations and challenges will be changed.

Channel Seven has confirmed the show’s third season will air next year.
A casting call released in March also advertised for ‘everyday Aussies’ to sign up for the challenging series.
‘You’ve seen our Star Recruits on the #SASAustralia course, now it’s your turn! Do you have what it takes to pass Selection?’ it read.
