Allegiant passenger kicked off flight because ‘he had a Let’s Go Brandon mask on’

A viral video showing a man who was removed from an Allegiant Airlines flight over what appeared to a facemask violation claims it was because his mask allegedly contained the now-famous anti-Joe Biden slogan ‘Let’s Go Brandon.’

The video was posted to Twitter by the account Libs of TikTok and starts with a man arguing with the flight attendant from Allegiant.

The stewardess references the ‘comment you’ve written on there’ regarding the message on the mask.

The video’s caption alleges that the mask contained the phrase ‘Let’s Go Brandon,’ a slogan mocking President Joe Biden and the media’s coverage of him.

In the footage, the attendant says to the passenger: ‘Could I ask you to wear a different mask please because of the comment that you have written on there?’

The man says he has a right to express his beliefs but the attendant replies: ‘I’m going to ask you to put a different mask on or I’m going to ask you to leave.’

He says the request is ‘in violation of my rights’ but she insists it is an FAA regulation.

When he refuses to change his mask, the stewardess says: ‘Sir, I’m going to have you leave the aircraft now.’

The passenger tries to film the incident but she refuses to give him permission and orders him off the plane.

Allegiant confirmed to Fox Business that the passenger was removed but claimed it was because he was disobeying the flight attendant.

Allegiant wouldn’t confirm whether or not the passenger had been unruly or violated the policy based on the slogan, nor where the flight departed or was headed.

‘The video in question depicts part of an incident involving a passenger who failed to comply with repeated crew member requests to adhere to the federal face mask policy,’ the statement to Fox Business said.

‘The passenger was removed from the flight and issued a refund for his fare,’ it continued.

‘Disregarding instructions from flight crew members is prohibited by federal regulations and is grounds for removal from a flight where such conduct creates an unsafe environment.’

Allegiant claims that it doesn’t usually remove passengers and doesn’t do so for weak reasons.

‘The decision to remove a passenger is never made lightly and is always done with the safety of our passengers and crew in mind,’ the statement read.

‘In April, the FAA adopted a zero-tolerance policy against unruly passenger behavior, which includes failure to comply with crew members’ instructions. We welcome the FAA’s renewed strong stance on unruly passengers, understanding the safety risk such incidents can create for both passengers and crew.’

There have been several incidents involving the friendly skies where airlines have had to intervene due to the slogan.

This is the second such incident in recent weeks. A passenger headed from Cleveland to Tampa Bay in late January was asked to remove his ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ mask.

Earlier in January, an American Airlines passenger sparked a firestorm by complaining about a pilot whose case bore the sticker critical of Joe Biden.

The pilot, whose identity was not released by the airline, was placed under investigation.

A foul-mouthed Las Vegas woman who was kicked off a plane in November for not wearing a face mask yelled the viral anti-Biden chant ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ and other obscenities as she was being arrested.

Katrina Alspaugh, 51, was initially involved in an incident just prior to boarding the Allegiant Air flight at a security checkpoint at McCarran International Airport.

In October, a Southwest Airlines pilot reportedly told passengers ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ as he signed off on a flight from Houston, Texas to Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The pilot, whose name has not been released, was seen on TikTok video apparently telling the passengers about the weather outside as they landed.

‘We’re heading east at about 107 or 108mph,’ the pilot, whose face is pixelated in the video, says. ‘Clear visibility, mostly clear skies, about 77 degrees.’

‘Thanks for coming out, flying Southwest Airlines, welcome home and let’s go Brandon.’

In a statement to DailyMail.com, a spokesperson for the airlines said: ‘The Southwest Team takes pride in providing a welcoming, comfortable, and respectful environment for the millions of customers who fly with the airline each year and behavior from any individual that is divisive or offensive is not condoned.’

They would not speak about the specific incident.

Crowd at NASCAR Talladega Superspeedway chant ‘F**k Joe Biden’ as Brandon Brown celebrates Xfinity Series victory (and NBC reporter thought they were saying ‘Let’s go Brandon!’)

A profane chant mocking Joe Biden broke out at Alabama’s Talladega Superspeedway after Brandon Brown received his first NASCAR Xfinity Series race victory.

Shortly after Brown gave his post-Xfinity Series race interview, telling a reporter his victory was a ‘dream come true,’ crowds in the stands began to loudly shout in unison, ‘F**k Joe Biden.’

NBC Sports reporter Kelli Stavast, who was conducting the interview, claimed fans were shouting ‘Let’s go Brandon!’

NASCAR originally posted a video of the interview on Twitter, including the chant, but later deleted the post.

With five laps remaining in the scheduled 113-lap race at the 2.66-mile speedway due to poor visibility, NASCAR officials called the race.

Brown was ultimately declared the winner as a final caution flag flew with 11 laps remaining, defeating driver Brandon Jones in the last scoring loop.

‘Dad, we did it, let’s go!’ Brown yelled into the camera during the interview.

Similar chants mocking Joe Biden broke out at college football games for a second straight week in stadiums across Southern states.

They came as the president’s approval ratings dipped following the chaotic evacuation from Afghanistan and his controversial vaccine mandate for federal workers.

The F*** Joe Biden shouts echoed throughout stadiums during games played by Coastal Carolina, Virginia Tech, Auburn, Alabama State, Mississippi State, North Carolina State and Texas A&M.

Twitter users pointed out that the protest chant – with the simple lyrics ‘f*** Joe Biden’ sung between claps – are mostly from colleges in states that Donald Trump won in the 2020 election.

Donald Trump Jr. attributed the derogatory protest on everything from Biden’s chaotic Afghanistan withdrawal to the new vaccine rules and rising inflation as the economy recovers from COVID-19 shutdowns.

‘Honestly, it’s gotten so bad that the media can’t run cover for him anymore,’ Trump Jr. told David Hookstead of the Daily Caller last month.

The chants broke out the weekends of September 4 and September 11 at various games

In one video, the chanting interrupted a panel of commentators recording at a studio above a stadium.

The chants were heard at a Coastal Carolina game against the Citadel on September 2 and at a Texas A&M game against Kent State on September 4.

They were heard again on Saturday at games between Mississippi State and North Carolina State and Auburn and Alabama State.

The chant has even spread to professional sports, uniting Yankees and Mets fans after a game in New York on Saturday. Video from that day shows fans of both teams singing the words as they leave Citi Field in Queens.

Biden’s approval rate stood at 45.8 percent in September, significantly down from a high of 55 percent on January 25, according to estimates from FiveThirtyEight.
