Ally Langdon breaks her silence over THAT Fiji flight disaster with a bitter remark during shock interview

Allison Langdon finally broke her silence on Friday after a TikTok user accused the veteran presenter of receiving special treatment on a Qantas flight to Fiji.

The A Current Affair host, 45, appeared on KIIS FM’s The Kyle and Jackie O Show when co-host Kyle Sandilands, 53, joked her hair looked unkempt in paparazzi shots.

‘What you need to do is take your hair person on holidays with you. I noticed they always get you on holidays looking all non-news like,’ Kyle told her.

Ally responded by joking she didn’t need to put the same effort into her appearance when she was on holidays instead of presenting, to which Kyle asked if she was touring the luxury ‘super yachts’ while away.

‘No. Haven’t you heard; I fly economy to Fiji!’ Ally pointedly replied.

Ally’s hilarious comments come after a TikTok user posted a wild rant last month, accusing Qantas staff of giving Ally and her family special treatment on a flight to Fiji during the school holidays.

Fellow Qantas passenger Courtney ranted: ‘There was a famous person from 60 Minutes on the plane, I think her name is Allison. She didn’t get a first class seat, she got an economy seat.’

‘We flew Qantas. They were turning people down when they were asking for wine and that’s fine. I didn’t ask but I overheard a lot of people being rejected.

‘But then they were offering her wine and handing it out in front of everyone else. So the people who were being declined alcohol had to sit and watch this famous lady be served alcohol when they bought the same ticket for the same price.

‘The staff were treating her better than everyone else. It’s just not fair. Why are these famous people getting treated better in front of you when you’ve both paid the same amount of money?

‘If you’re going to give someone special treatment just because you think they’re famous, I think that’s wrong. I don’t understand what’s going on with service these days.’

But Courtney’s account of what happened on the flight was quickly debunked.

In photos obtained by Daily Mail Australia, Allison was pictured with her husband Michael Willesee Jr. and their children at the Qantas business class check-in before flying out for the school holidays.

They were also escorted to the gate by Qantas ground staff, a service usually only provided to business or first class passengers – If she was in business class, she would have paid for any ‘special treatment’ she received.

A Qantas spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia, ‘it’s ridiculous to suggest Allison was given any special treatment’.
