Amal Clooney helping ‘pal Meghan Markle settle into London life’

Arriving on the arm of her husband George Clooney, she was one of the most stylish guests at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Royal Wedding earlier this month.

And Amal Clooney is now reportedly helping the newly appointed Duchess Of Sussex settle into London life, according to People magazine. 

The human rights lawyer, 40, has forged a ‘natural friendship’ with Meghan following her move to the UK, and is said to be doing what she can to make sure she feels comfortable in the British capital.

‘Meghan and Amal have known each other for a while [and share] many interests,’ an insider told the publication. 

It was continued of her new confidante role: ‘Amal has been helping Meghan settle into London life. It was a very natural friendship from day one.’  

George and Amal became friends with Meghan after being introduced via a mutual friend when she moved to England, with the pair even sharing the same hairdresser. 

Making their highly-anticipated debut at Windsor Castle, Amal and her husband George, 57,  made sure they stayed in the spotlight alongside other high profile celebrities at the Royal wedding on May 19th.

Amal looked sensational as she showed off her slender figure and turned heads in a fitted mustard yellow dress, designed by Stella McCartney.

She wore a matching fascinator and netting, accessorising with some dazzling jewels from Lorraine Schwartz. 

The British-Lebanese beauty styled her brunette locks into a curly blow-dried hairdo, which was elegantly swept to the side.

She added a full face of glamorous Charlotte Tilbury make-up for the big day, including eye liner and a subtle dark nude lipstick.

Meanwhile, her husband, George, looked dapper in a fitted grey suit with a light blue shirt and yellow striped tie completed with black dress shoes.

The couple joined the likes of David and Victoria Beckham, Oprah Winfrey, Serena Williams, Elton John, James Corden, Idris Elba and Priyanka Chopra – to name a few, at the star-studded wedding. 

George proved himself to be quite the salesman at the Royal Wedding when he was reportedly seen jumping behind the bar and pouring his own brand booze, Casamigos.   

Sources revealed to Entertainment Tonight, the Ocean’s Eleven star, was playing bartender at the bash while also promoting his own brand.

In a hilarious insight to the most coveted party of the year, it was claimed George ‘hopped behind the bar and poured shots for everyone’ at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s royal wedding reception.

He was determined that everyone had a good time at the after-party and so made sure the drinks were flowing when everyone took to the dance floor. 

A source said: ‘George hopped behind the bar and was actually bartending for a bit. He poured Casamigos drinks and shots and got everyone dancing!’
