The three possible fathers in the flick will also have younger versions as Sam will be portrayed by Jeremy Irvine, Bill will be played by Josh Dylan, and young Harry is Hugh Skinner.

One person not seen in any of the footage who is expected to make an appearance is legendary singer Cher.

The minute-long video begins with Lily saying: ‘We had the best time on set and we wanted to share some of our favorite moments with you.’

The introduction is followed by several clips including James excitedly saying ‘we are starting Mamma Mia!’

No doubt there is plenty of preparation involved in such an ambitious project as footage from song and dance rehearsals were also featured.

Streep is not shown much in the featurette as she is shown briefly sharing a laugh with Pierce Brosnan early on in the video.

The 28-year-old British star also has a cute moment at the end as filming was wrapping.

She could be seen standing up on a balcony as she yells at the rest of the cast and crew: ‘You guys are the best ever!’
