An Amazon worker has sparked a fierce debate online after she claimed that customers who get packages delivered every day are ‘wrong’ for not leaving their drivers snacks.
Almost everyone has seen those heartwarming videos of delivery drivers becoming overwhelmed with emotion after discovering that one of the households they were bringing a package to left them a treat.
And now, a woman named Aniya Mitch has spoken out about the viral trend, and she said she believed it should become a normal practice for those who order a lot of stuff online.
In a video shared to her TikTok account earlier this week, Aniya, who works for Amazon, explained that people who get things delivered ‘every day’ or ‘every other day’ usually have the ‘same driver.’

‘And you ain’t putting no snacks out there? B***h,’ she scathed. ‘Y’all got a bond now. You see each other every day, and you ain’t leaving no snacks? You’re wrong.’
Aniya’s 19-second clip – which got more than 284,000 views – launched a massive quarrel between online users, some of whom agreed with her and others who argued that it’s their job and they don’t deserve an extra reward for it.
‘I don’t gotta put snacks for nobody. Bring my package. Thank you,’ one person wrote.
‘So if it’s a bond why don’t you bring me snacks instead since you already driving?’ another asked.
Someone else said: ‘You think seeing someone everyday means you need to give them snacks? I see people at work every day nobody gives me snacks either.’
‘No ma’am, your wrong, we don’t have to leave any snacks,’ a fourth comment read, while a fifth said, ‘You’re getting pay for that, go to the store and [buy] your own snacks.’
‘Should I put out a blanket and nap pad as well? You get paid to deliver,’ different user added.
‘So…. Now the Amazon drivers are shaking us down for hand outs. It is just another form of wanting a tip,’ someone else commented.

Some people brought up the negative experiences that they’ve had with delivery drivers in the past – with one viewer recalling a time someone ‘threw their package’ and another claiming her driver ‘got tired of coming’ to her floor, so they opted to leave the packages at the bottom of the stairs.
‘When they start putting my s*** at the right apartment I will,’ wrote someone else.
