The Dancing On Ice star, 27, who closely missed out on a place in the final, revealed she walked into a door and endured a nasty gash on her eyebrow.

The former Love Island winner took to Instagram to detail the accident and apologised to fans for having to come off mid-performance in the matinee show.

Amber also shared she would not be performing in Thursday night’s show – in order to recover from her injury.

She said: ‘Trigger warning if you don’t like blood… Guys, this is for anyone who came to watch Pretty Woman in Milton Keynes this afternoon.

‘I’m so so sorry I had to go off mid-show because I had a little accident in the interval, you couldn’t write it.

‘I literally just walked into the door. I opened the door with my head down and I was going quite fast and it just hit me right in the head so I had to come off mid-show and I’m not doing tonight either because it is still bleeding a little bit.

‘But hopefully by tomorrow night I’ll be back on with a plaster over it and I can just hide it with some foundation.

‘You couldn’t write it could you. I go on Dancing On Ice for two and a half months, I do the head banger, I do all the lifts, I’m on two blades on the ice and it’s a door that takes me out.’

Amber then shared another Instagram snap on Thursday, snuggled up next to her dog on her sofa recovering, and gave fans a health update.

She wrote: ‘A recovery day. Cuts been cleaned this morning and re dressed by my wonderful GP. Still very much an open cut but hopefully I’ll be back on stage by tomorrow!’

Amber was the fifth celeb to leave Dancing On Ice during the show’s nail-biting semi-final earlier this month – which saw Ryan Thomas take the win.

She just missed out on a place in next weeks finale after landing in the dreaded skate off alongside Adele Roberts.

Despite scoring the full 40 marks for her routine as she flew through the air on wires with partner Simon Senecal, Amber once again found herself in the bottom two for a third week in a row.

Amber then praised partner Simon saying her time with him had been ‘life changing in so many ways’.

Before going on to gush about the behind the scenes staff for all their hard work.

Host Holly Willoughby comforted the reality star before she skated off to applause fro the studio audience.
