Haley Reinhart, who competed on season 10 of American Idol, has been found guilty of battery for hitting a bouncer during a bar brawl last July.
The 27-year-old had testified in her own defense during the hearing held in Cook County, Illinois, on Monday.
She insisted she didn’t intentionally hit the man during the altercation at a hostelry in the Palatine suburb of Chicago, but the judge in the case said surveillance video showed otherwise, according to local newspaper DailyHerald.com.

Reinhart was ordered to pay a $500 fine plus court coasts of $139.
Afterwards, she told TMZ: ‘I didn’t see it going this way. The judge was wrong in his interpretation and had a cold and unfortunate perspective on the case.’
The singer was booked for battery last summer after striking the bouncer with ‘a closed fist’ after being told to leave the bar.’

Reinhart placed third on the Fox reality competition in 2011.
The Illinois native now resides in Los Angeles where she continues to pursue her music career.
In 2017, she released her third studio album, What’s That Sound?, that she supported with a short tour last Fall.
