American pizza chain Little Caesars has shut all of its Australian stores.
The brand – which had 14 restaurants across New South Wales – closed its doors barely six years after it first arrived in Australia.
The company was placed into administration in October and half of its stores were closed as debts spiralled.
The rest were closed last week, with the chain owing $8.57million.
Little Caesars initially had plans to overtake the likes of Domino’s, Pizza Hut and Crust and dominate the Australian market.
Its Australian director Peter Koury said up to 400 stores could open across the country when it opened, but his plans never came to fruition.
Administrators say they do not know where Mr Koury is, according to the Courier Mail.
