A daredevil stuntman on a new ‘extreme’ version of Simon Cowell’s America’s Got Talent has suffered a ‘horrific’ injury on set, a report claims.

Jonathan Goodwin was suspended 70 feet in the air hanging by his feet while in a straightjacket when the stunt went horribly wrong, TMZ reports.

Goodwin – who has appeared on America’s Got Talent in the past – is said to have been air-lifted to hospital where his condition remains unclear, according to the report.

DailyMail.com has reached out to reps for the show for comment.

Goodwin was reportedly meant to free himself from the restraints and fall on an air mattress, narrowly avoiding two cars that were suspended beside him.
