Boxer Amir Khan has announced he has filed for divorce from his wife Faryal Makhdoom following the couple’s very public break up.
But he questioned his estranged wife’s claims she is pregnant during a video message to his fans on Snapchat.
Khan, 30, and his estranged wife are going through a bitter separation after the collapse of their four-year marriage, with both accusing each other of cheating.

Speaking to his followers on Snapchat today, Khan said: ‘So me and Faryal are not together. I have filed for a divorce.
‘I hear that she has just announced that she is pregnant. She didn’t tell me. I had to read it on social media.
‘I’m always going to be there for my kids [if] we’re not married. We’re not together but my kids are everything to me.
‘I don’t know if it’s true that she is pregnant or not, time will tell, but in the meantime I’m there for Lamaisah. She’s everything to me.
‘If there is another kid then I am going to be there to show my support and be there for Faryal, but we both think it’s not healthy to be together.
‘It’s not healthy for the kids. I don’t want my children to see us fighting. We are officially not together.’

Faryal wrote on Twitter today saying ‘Morning sickness you suck!!’ before adding: ‘As long as Allah is with you what more do you need.’
Yesterday she uploaded an image of a baby scan to Snapchat along with a heart emoji and praying emoji calling her child ‘my angel’.
The now-warring couple married in 2013 at New York’s Waldorf Astoria hotel, with rights to the £800,000 bash sold to a glossy mag.
But he announced the shock split on Twitter and accused her of seeking a fling with fellow British boxer Anthony Joshua, which she and the world heavyweight champion have strongly denied.
Khan has been linked to Pakistan model Alyzeh Gabol, 23, after he posted a happy birthday message for her on Instagram.

He also held hands with the woman as the couple were directed from the music venue by security staff.
