Boxxer CEO Ben Shalom says Amir Khan has three weeks to activate a rematch clause with rival Kell Brook, following his loss in Manchester last week.
Khan was stopped in brutal fashion during the sixth-round of his long-awaited bout with Brook, having been on the back foot for the majority of the fight.
Despite the conclusive nature of his loss, Shalom says that a rematch is still on the cards with Khan having the power to trigger another bout.

Speaking to talkSPORT Shalom explained that the clause is available to trigger for Khan, but is unsure if it’s the right thing to do.
Shalom said: ‘The problem we’ve got, and no one has mentioned it so far, is that Amir Khan has a rematch clause in his contract.
‘It’s not something we would advise and it’s something we don’t think Amir should do, but he does have that option.
‘We have heard murmurs from his camp that he was jet lagged and didn’t take Kell too seriously.
‘I don’t think it will happen, but it’s not something in our control.’

Shalom went on to explain that he does not think the fight is a good idea for Khan.
When asked if he would be able to sell a second fight between the pair, Shalom added: ‘I think the only person who can sell that is Amir. I don’t know what’s in his head or what happened.
‘What I saw was a one-way street and I felt Amir was finished.
‘Amir got demolished in that fight and I would expect that to happen again.’
