A popular Australian YouTuber has shown off her hilarious online shopping fails after buying several budget items she ‘wouldn’t normally pick’ to see if they’d look as good on her as they did on the model. 

Lauren Curtis, 26, often puts various online fashion boutiques to the test and each time finds many of the cheaper pieces look very different in reality.  

The Australian makeup artist, who has more than three million followers on the streaming service, purchased tops, dresses and jumpsuits – each of the items form-fitting and popular with Instagram models.

With all of the pieces under $63 the Perth-based vlogger didn’t have to fork out too much for the research task, and did come away liking some of the products.
