Amy Jackson attends Cannes Film Festival premiere of Monster without Ed Westwick

Amy Jackson was among the first arrivals as the 78th annual Cannes Film Festival entered its second day with a screening of new foreign language film Monster. 

The model and actress appeared to be without boyfriend Ed Westwick as she made her way across the red carpet on Wednesday evening, but his absence did nothing to dim her spotlight. 

Greeting photographers, Jackson, 31, commanded attention in a sweeping black evening dress with a hip-length slash that barely protected her modesty, while fully exposing her legs. 

She teamed the gown with a pair or strappy heels, while her hair was neatly pulled into a conventional bun. 

Other red carpet arrivals included British actress Gemma Chan and American star Viola Davis as Japanese filmmaker Hirokazu Kore-eda celebrated the launch of his latest work.

Jackson and Westwick have made numerous of public appearances together in recent weeks, but Wednesday evening appeared to buck that particular trend. 

Rumours about the couple began circulating in February, but they reportedly began seeing one another romantically in December of 2021.

They met at at Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea International Film Festival last December – where they were snapped chatting together at a screening during the closing ceremony.

In February, a source told The Sun on Sunday: ‘Ed and Amy are a really good match. They hit it off straight away.

Jackson has starred in a string of Indian films, predominantly in Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu languages – after auditioning for one in London in a twist of fate.

She was previously in a relationship with hotelier George Panayiotou, with the pair getting engaged in January 2019 and welcoming a son that September.

They broke things off in 2021, before her relationship with Westwick began later that year.

Meanwhile the actor previously dating South African model and influencer Tamara Francesconi for two years, before also separating in 2021.
