Andre Onana has stated his desire to stay at Ajax despite reported interest from Manchester United.
Onana was part of an Ajax side who enjoyed a remarkable 2018-19 season, which saw them win the Eredivisie for the first time in five years and reach the semi-finals of the Champions League.
At least two star members of last season’s team will not be in Amsterdam as Ajax bid to defend their Dutch crown.

Frenkie de Jong has signed for Barcelona and Matthijs de Ligt is also leaving.
Onana, too, has linked with a possible move away. He is said to be on the radar at Old Trafford with United eyeing him as a possible replacement for David de Gea should the Spaniard leave this summer.
But 23-year-old Onana is in no rush to depart Johan Cruyff ArenA.
He told Voetbal International: ‘It is important to me that I play at a good level and that I can continue to develop.
‘I am still young and with Ajax we have just proved how much we can achieve with this club.
‘It will not be easy to surpass that. But I want to fight for new success with Ajax.’
Onana has been on Ajax’s books since 2015 when he joined as a teenager from Barcelona.
Cameroon international Onana is currently in Egypt at the Africa Cup of Nations.
